Kari Toyama, otherwise known as THE DON WAN, was a contract tester at Bungie Studios. She now works with MGS as a game tester. She is semi-regular poster on Bungie.net as well.
THE DON WAN originally hails from O'ahu, Hawaii and is a lifelong gamer. THE DON WAN comes from a gaming family, her mother being the first woman to run a Multi-User Dungeon (MUD) server in Hawaii.
As a Bungie contractor, although her name does not appear onscreen, THE DON WAN's Spartan character in its signature pink armor appears in many official Bungie screenshots, videos, and photographs of Halo 3.
In the summer of 2007, she took on Forum Ninja duties on Bungie.net. In the Bungie.net forums, she is known for her sarcastic quips and her claims of being obsessed with trying to get Stosh to go on a date with her.
