Mad Cat 74 is a formerly well-known Floodian who seems to change his coup fairly often. Although many B.net members believe his name to be of a distressed house cat, the term he was meaning with "Mad Cat" actually describes a mech originally from the Mechwarrior franchise.
Mad Cat used to be a common poster in the Flood forums, however in recent months he is scarcely seen anymore on any of the main B.net forums.
However, Mad Cat is well known in a couple of private groups, such as the MLP group and sometimes the Coup group.
Mad Cat has been known to play Marathon: Durandal, Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo Wars, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo Reach. However as he has been known to state many times before: "Armor Lock sucks. I never use it except in games where they whore it out to death." He is also known to hate Sword Base.
He also doesn't understand why everyone hates Elites so much.
"Elites are fun to play as. I don't know why people hate them so much."
Although only a select few know of it, anyone who has played an Xbox Live game with Mad Cat has usually been met with a barrage of cursing and yelling whenever he has been known to lose or ridiculed. It is also known that Mad Cat is very outspoken against teabagging dead players. Stating "It's a very pathetic way of satisfying your e-peen."
Games that are known to piss Mad Cat 74 off include:
- Halo Reach
- Gears of War
- Left 4 Dead
- Call of Duty
Mad Cat has been known to have a wide variety of coups.
In his early days in the Flood he was known to use Pokemon coups, and occasionally a Zelda coup.
However as Mad Cat became more and more sympathetic to the Brony movement, he one day ventured into the MLP group and soon afterward came out with a brand new Twilight Sparkle coup from the show MLP FiM.
Mad Cat has also been known to troll the forums of B.net, especially the Reach forum. At one point (and to the amusement of many in the Flood forum), he successfully trolled the Reach forum simply by stating that the Assault Rifle was overpowered. Although he was banned, the thread had reached hot topic status and many Reach forumgoers were subsequently miffed.
Not much is known about Mad Cat and his lifestyle. Most of everyone thinks he just lives like any other internet dweller by living off pornography and soda.
However it is suspected that Mad Cat may have had a run-in with cancer, as stated in posts from both The Flood and the MLP group.
