Artificial intelligences (AI) are present in many of Bungie's games. There are two types of AI. The first type, Smart AI, is very life-like and and has a life span of seven years before they go rampant. The other type, standard AI (or dumb AI), is not quite as human and has limited memory. The latter will last much longer, but not be nearly as useful.
